First 5 Sacramento Commission

The First 5 Sacramento Commission is comprised of 14 members who have been appointed by the County Board of Supervisors because of their experience in early childhood health and development.

As a funding agency, the Commission makes strategic investments based on best practices and a community-driven plan. Investments are made into programs that meet the highest needs of children and families in Sacramento County.

Commission Meetings

First 5 Sacramento Commission meetings are regularly scheduled the first Monday of the month (except as noted) from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers at 700 H Street.  Public input is welcomed at meetings.
