Systems Optimization and Sustainability (SOS) Committee

The role of the SOS Committee is to advise the Commission on strategies and activities that build public awareness and action, affect policy change, and increase other financial resources to support sustainability. This includes activities such as supporting and advocating for local and state policy development; systems improvement efforts; prioritizing racial equity, diversity and inclusion (REDI); parent and civic engagement; and coalition and network building in alignment with the Commission's Pol​​icy Priorities.

Meeting Dates and Agendas​

Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Wednesday of every other month except as noted, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at First 5 Sacramento, 2750 Gateway Oaks, Suite 330, Sacramento, CA 95833. 

​The meetings are open to the public, and community input is welcome.
