Equity in Action Funding Committee

The Equity in Action Funding Committee is tasked with deciding how funding under the First 5 Sacramento Racial Equity Priority should be spent supporting children ages 0-5 in the communities that need it most.

The Equity in Action Funding process is a participatory grantmaking process that will help ensure that the decisions made are well-informed, culturally responsive and reflective of the community's strengths and needs. Committee members have lived experience in the priority zip codes.

The Equity in Action Funding Committee’s work is grounded in First 5 Sacramento’s Equity Resolution and its commitment to advancing equitable outcomes for children and families.

Future meetings to be determined by the committee.

Meetings are a hybrid of in-person and virtual.
