First 5 Sacramento is seeking Sacramento residents to join the Equity in Action Committee and help decide how $4 million in grants can be used to support organizations working with young families in historically underfunded communities.

This is a new way of funding called Participatory Grantmaking. It puts decision-making power directly in the hands of the people who know their communities best.

By joining the Equity in Action Committee, you can:

  • Make sure families who need help the most get the support they deserve
  • Support small, community-led organizations making a real impact
