The Equity in Action Funding Committee is tasked with deciding how funding under the First 5 Sacramento Racial Equity Priority should be spent supporting children ages 0-5 in the communities that need it most.
The Equity in Action Funding process is a participatory grantmaking process that will help ensure that the decisions made are well-informed, culturally responsive and reflective of the community's strengths and needs. Committee members have lived experience in the priority zip codes.
Meetings are a hybrid of in-person and virtual.
